ARW1 Series Intelligent Air Circuit Breakers (ACB)

The ARW1 series intelligent Air Circuit Breaker is engineered for AC 50Hz/60Hz power distribution networks with rated operational voltages up to 690V and rated current ranges from 400A up to 6300A. Built specifically for critical infrastructure projects, commercial grids, and heavy industrial facilities, these ACBs provide high-precision protection and selective circuit safety, ensuring stable power delivery.

Equipped with a smart microcomputer controller, the ARW1 offers high selective coordination, preventing wide-scale power interruptions. It includes an open communication interface that supports standard protocols like Modbus, enabling remote monitoring and control. This system provides "remote sensing," "remote adjustment," "remote control," and "remote signaling," meeting the integration needs of automated control rooms and smart grid setups.

Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) Innovations

Our MCCB product portfolio spans multiple series designed for distinct applications:

  • ARM1 & ARM1L Series: Reliable thermal-magnetic and residual current protection designed for traditional industrial, municipal, and commercial installations.
  • ARXM3 Series: Compact, high-breaking capacity breakers optimized for distribution boards where physical space is limited.
  • ARM3E & ARM5 Series: Electronic MCCBs featuring built-in LSIG (Long-time delay, Short-time delay, Instantaneous, Ground fault) trip units, enabling precise parameter configuration for sensitive loads.
  • ARM6 Series: Next-generation smart MCCBs with advanced metering, edge computing capabilities, and network communication features for real-time power analytics.
  • ARM5HU High-Voltage Series (250-3P up to 630A): Designed for new energy systems, such as solar PV installations and battery energy storage systems (BESS), operating under high voltage ratings.

Engineered for Demanding Environments

Specific circuit breaker configurations tailored to withstand harsh operational conditions across diverse global projects.

Low Temperature Environments

Low Temperature Environments (-40°C)

Designed with specialized low-temperature resistant plastics, low-viscosity mechanical lubricants, and thickened metal coatings. All products undergo testing in our environmental chamber to secure a verified -40°C performance certificate, making them ideal for sub-zero installations.

Marine and Salt Spray Environments

Salt Spray & Marine Operations

Engineered for seaside docks, marine vessels, and offshore wind platforms. Our components undergo 72-hour salt spray testing for finished assemblies and 48-hour testing for semi-finished parts. This level of protection prevents rust and decay in high-humidity, high-salinity air.

High Altitude Environments

High Altitude Derating (Above 2000m)

In high-altitude areas with thin air, heat dissipation drops and insulation strength decreases. We provide specialized high-altitude derating tables and adjusted thermal-magnetic designs to ensure reliable operation above 2000 meters.

High Temperature Environments

High Temperature Environments (55°C)

Using thermal insulation coatings on electronic controllers, along with anti-corrosive copper and iron parts, these breakers are designed for high-heat industrial plants. We verify high-temperature derating and mechanical life inside our 55°C constant-temperature rooms.

Intelligent Smart Grid Measurement

Intelligent Measurement & Smart Grids

Integrates communication, high-precision power metering, safety protection, and edge computing. These breakers support real-time current and voltage monitoring while communicating over RS485, Modbus, or Ethernet protocols to connect directly with smart grids.

Home Furnishing applications

Residential & Commercial Distribution

Highly flexible, compact, and designed for distribution boards in residential projects. They provide critical protection for downstream household appliances and equipment against overloads and short circuits.

Frequently Asked Technical Questions

Get answers to common technical, manufacturing, and shipping questions for international orders.

1. What is the breaking capacity range (Icu/Ics) for your 3200A and 1600A ACBs?
Our ARW1-1600 series Air Circuit Breakers support breaking capacities up to 65kA at 400V/690V. The larger ARW1-3200 and ARW1-4000 series provide up to 85kA to 120kA ultimate breaking capacity (Icu), with service breaking capacity (Ics) rated at 100% of Icu to ensure stable operation after clearing faults.
2. How does Acereare Electric handle circuit breaker performance at high altitudes?
For projects above 2000 meters, we apply high-altitude correction coefficients. These adjust for reduced dielectric cooling and insulation strength. Our team configures your breakers to meet rated current requirements based on these site-specific variables.
3. Can you manufacture electronic MCCBs with custom LSIG trip parameter configurations?
Yes. Our ARM3E, ARM5E, and ARM6 electronic Molded Case Circuit Breakers can be ordered with adjustable LSIG (Long-time, Short-time, Instantaneous, Ground fault) trip units. These settings allow site engineers to coordinate trip curves precisely, minimizing nuisance tripping on complex commercial grids.
4. What materials are used for your MCCB stamping parts and busbars?
We use high-purity copper (T2 grade) for our electrical busbars, connection plates, and terminals to ensure high electrical conductivity and low resistance. Key stamping parts are finished with tin, nickel, or silver coatings to prevent oxidation and maintain consistent contact pressure.
5. Do you support small trial orders for customized OEM configurations?
Yes. We accommodate small initial orders to help clients test new designs in their regional markets. Once local approvals and market demand are established, we can transition to higher volume production runs.
