High-Performance Smart Liquid Crystal MCCBs & Intelligent Power Protection Systems

Whitepaper Briefing

ARM6Z Smart MCCB Tech Briefing

In today's rapidly changing global industrial ecosystem, power distribution networks demand more than just basic protection mechanisms. The transformation toward smart grids, industrial IoT (IIoT), and digital substations has positioned the Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) as a key edge node for data collection and circuit protection. The ARM6Z series intelligent liquid crystal type remote control MCCB represents this technological paradigm shift.

Capable of managing currents from 250A up to 630A under 400VAC voltages, the ARM6Z series incorporates microprocessors, integrated liquid crystal displays (LCD), and Modbus/RS485 remote transmission channels. This enables energy systems to perform remote monitoring, real-time current metering, predictive fault analysis, and automated trip actions.

⚙️

Liquid Crystal User Interface

Unlike traditional thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, the ARM6Z incorporates an integrated LCD screen on the front panel. Operating teams can view phase currents, real-time load voltages, insulation status, and the most recent 10 fault-trip logs directly on site. This eliminates the need for manual thermal imaging or multi-meter measurements, minimizing risk during maintenance.

📡

Microprocessor & Remote Control

The ARM6Z's trip unit is managed by a high-frequency microcontroller unit (MCU). This MCU samples data from integrated current transformers. Built-in Modbus and RS485 communication protocols enable integration with SCADA, DCS, or centralized building management configurations, allowing for remote open, close, and reset actions.

Advanced Fault Protection

Features customizable multi-stage protection profiles, including long-time overload delay protection, short-time short circuit delay protection, instantaneous short circuit protection, and ground fault protection (LSIG). This selective coordination ensures that fault conditions are isolated locally, preventing upstream system failures.

China Factory Efficiency & Global Supply Chain Resilience

Why international EPC contractors, grid operators, and distributors choose Acereare Group for critical electrical assets.

Automated Manufacturing Infrastructure

Acereare Group's two manufacturing centers utilize state-of-the-art automation. By integrating multi-station progressive stamping presses, automatic silver alloy welding machinery, and computer-controlled thermal calibration fixtures, we reduce mechanical tolerances to micron levels.

Our smart calibration systems test every single trip unit for long-delay, short-delay, and instantaneous tripping profiles, storing the historical test curve on cloud servers linked directly through local MES (Manufacturing Execution System) tracking.

Optimized OEM & ODM Framework

We operate as a trusted partner for global brands, providing OEM and ODM services. Our specialized engineers support rapid prototyping, CAD/3D enclosure customization, and coordination with laboratories for international certifications.

With localized supply chains in Wenzhou, China—the global hub of electrical equipment production—we source components at competitive rates. This enables us to offer high-quality products at competitive price points.

Special Environmental Adaptation & Application Profiles

Acereare circuit breakers are engineered to perform reliably in extreme industrial and geographic environments globally.

Extreme Low Temperature Electrical Station

Low Temperature (-40℃)

Utilizing low-temperature resistant lubrication, custom polymer casings, and specialized metal alloy spring assemblies, our circuit breakers are rated for safe start-up and continuous operation down to -40℃.

Coastal High Salt Spray Environments

Marine & High Salt Spray

Our products undergo testing for up to 72 hours on full assemblies. Critical copper contacts receive thick anti-corrosion plating to withstand humid coastal air and salt spray in offshore and port environments.

High Altitude Mountains Solar Project

High Altitude (>2000m)

At elevations above 2,000 meters, reduced air density affects insulation and cooling. We apply verified derating parameters to adjust current thresholds and contact spacing, ensuring safety at high altitudes.

Residential and Home Furnishing Integration

Commercial & Residential

These units integrate into commercial buildings and real estate distribution networks. They offer compact sizing, ease of installation, and high breaking capacities to protect circuits from overload.

Industrial Furnace High Temperature Environment

High Temperature (55℃)

Designed with heat-resistant materials and internal thermal insulation coatings, these breakers are tested in 55℃ environmental chambers to ensure steady operation in hot industrial climates.

Intelligent Measurement Smart Grids

Smart Grid Edge Nodes

Equipped with integrated microprocessors, RS485 communication, and high-precision current transformers, our breakers provide data measurement to support smart grids and edge computing systems.

ARM6Z Procurement & Engineering FAQ

Get answers to common technical, manufacturing, and shipping questions regarding our smart circuit breaker series.

What is the key technological advantage of the ARM6Z series over traditional MCCBs?
The ARM6Z series incorporates an on-board LCD display panel and microprocessing units. Rather than relying on simple mechanical tripping, the ARM6Z constantly measures phase currents and voltages, presenting real-time information to operating teams. Its integrated RS485 communication interface enables remote operations and data collection within SCADA systems.
Does the ARM6Z series support custom ratings and parameter configurations?
Yes. The trip profiles (LSIG parameters) are adjustable through the front-facing digital keypad interface or remotely via communication protocols. We support rated currents from 250A to 630A, with various trip curves to match different load protection requirements.
How does your factory ensure the breaking capacity (Icu) is verified?
Our factories have on-site testing laboratories to perform aging tests, temperature-rise evaluations, and trip calibration. Our designs are also certified by independent international labs to verify short-circuit breaking capacities up to 85kA at 400VAC.
Can these breakers be used in harsh geographic settings like mountains or offshore installations?
Yes. We offer customized configurations for extreme conditions, including high-altitude derating parameters for elevations above 2,000 meters, anti-corrosion protection for salt spray environments, and modified assemblies for temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 55℃.
What are your typical lead times and minimum order quantities (MOQ) for international orders?
Typical lead times range from 15 to 30 days depending on order size and customization requirements. Because we manage two factories and control component stamping internally, we maintain flexible MOQ limits to support distribution networks and large-scale industrial projects.
